At Ugrachandi Boarding School (UBS), learning begins with curiosity and creativity. Our Grade 6,7 Design students have embarked on a unique project: researching, creating, and testing toys to enhance the fine motor skills of Junior Kindergarten students. The process begins with a discovery phase, where Grade 6,7 students observe how younger learners play, what captures their attention, and what challenges them. Through this hands-on interaction, students not only learn about development and design but also build empathy, connection, and confidence. Junior Kindergarten students benefit from meaningful play experiences, while older students gain insights into collaboration, leadership, and understanding the needs of others. This initiative exemplifies how Ugrachandi Boarding School (UBS) fosters creativity, community, and holistic learning at every level.
